I HEART Atlanta and New York (And Africa?), Part I

I have been packing and unpacking and travelling all over the place the last few weeks,
 doing things that I LOVE . . .

First, I co-chaired the Preview Party
for Jackson's 34th annual Art for Heart
benefit for the local Heart Association on
January 13th.

Art AND the Heart Association
are both very dear to MY heart!
I am passionate about supporting them both.

Then early the next morning,
I packed a few bags and flew to Atlanta to show my new line
 Nancy Price for Design Legacy.

We had a great visit in Atlanta,
meeting lots of fun people.

We were really thrilled that several bloggers including Brooke Giannetti of
"Velvet and Linen"

Gwen Driscoll of "Ragland Hill Social"
included the line in their market picks.

(Thank you both again!)

We just introduced the line last summer and are so excited to really, finally
 be showing it around.

After a long friendship with
Kelly O'Neal of Design Legacy in Dallas, and many years of traveling together and buying antiques, Kelly and I began work several years ago on my first collection.

 bring it all to fruition!

After Atlanta, I was back home for a few days to attend the Art for Heart Dinner/Auction
AND to launch my blog, both
 on January 27th . . .

Then the next morning, I packed my bags again and flew out to New York to show my new line
Nancy Price for Design Legacy again!

New York set-up took a couple of days!

But lots of adventures were ahead!

I WAS planning a buying trip to South America late this month, BUT my plans have changed!

My sweet husband Johnny bought me a little surprise at the Art for Heart Dinner/Auction so I will need to pack again soon . . .

He is taking me somewhere I have
always wanted to go . . .

To see something that I have
always wanted to see . . .

Johnny bought me THE trip to Africa
in the Art for Heart Auction!

He knows that I have always wanted to see giraffes in their natural habitat.
It is on my bucket list!

But meanwhile, stay tuned for details on my adventures in New York
and my New York market picks
later this week.
